As having filipino heritage, a subject matter that I find fascinating.
The Tasaday (TAH-sah-DAI) are said to be a group of stone age from the Philippines who have remained completely isolated in the mountains and only until a couple decades ago made contact with society today.
Then other scientists claim that it was a hoax created by a screwed up visiting sociologist who merely stripped local natives of their clothes and sent them to live in caves . O__o
Other scientists still say that they could have also been indigenous peoples some years ago who went into hiding deep in the rainforests after disease and famine ravaged their village.
But no matter what the theories are, they lived in harmony in the rainforest raising their children in a close knit group and are a loving, unjudgemental, kind and generous people.
