..why is it easier to draw out ones feelings when everything else is lost?

continuing comic about a painter set in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender

hehe, this could very well still be the same comic without it being Avatar related..but it was Avatar that began many things with inspiring me to think and become interested about these thingies...so not to dedicate it to that world as well as the "Chihwaseon" movie..would defeat the purpose.

HEY~~ that isn't Chinese!

Haha, I kid, I kid! (...Well, it actually isn't Chinese, but that's besides the point) In any case, I'm really glad you uploaded another page! *_* The story continues to unfold, and it's just so hard to describe the awesomeness of this story you have.

The picture of the elder man in the last panel, on the bottom-right is especially haunting...I myself have never experienced the horrors and aftermath of war (haha, well, maybe soon...), but if I did, I wonder if that would be what I would draw as well....

"..why is it easier to draw out ones feelings when everything else is lost?"

because it the only thing that them can take away, your feelings. You can leave them, but no one can take them away.

Is a very powerful story! Fantastic work!! ^_^

"..why is it easier to draw out ones feelings when everything else is lost?"

I guess it's because of all the heightened emotions. It's hard to draw well when you're feeling blah, but really easy when it's just 'one of your good days'. Maybe despair works the same way, but on the opposite side of the scale.

And here I am trying to be an art psychologist. XD I don't know... There are probably lots of better other reasons.

Because, nothing is left but hatred, malice, torment, anger, and hopelessness, and believe me, it is much easier to pour those into something than to try to make something during a particuraly nuetral or even happy times.

wow, you must be very inspired to do this; this is one of the fastest i've seen you update these types of things!

i have no idea where this is gonna lead so i'm having a hard time formulating a proper comment...uhm..
i like the scratchyness and sortof sloppy look the artist came up with; it wasn't a beautiful picture that he just came up with on the spot, but it expressed his feelings.

man, it feels nice to have something relate to me |D (actually, i think many many MANY artists are going to be able to relate to this; infact, you're probably calming a lot people that think they're alone in their stress and stuff when reall...they're not at all :D)

btw, what's the writing in the middle and top right corner of the pichure say?
