It was my mother's birthday on April 24th, and me, even though I can be an ass to her most of the time, and having no money to buy her something cool, I made this card for her instead. ^__^;
Thankfully she loved it , and allowed me to post it here.
I collected some flowers and leaves and stuff and pressed them for a period of a couple weeks, took them and cut them into shapes and formed the fairies' wings, and painted some other details using white acrylic mixed with some watercolors. Then I sketched the figures on a separate piece of thick paper and cut it out and stuck something underneath to make them "pop-out"
I used some nice n' thick paper, and OH god, it is soooo much better for painting than using the crappy thin office printing paper I've been using
It was actually a four series sequential illustration on the card about a little baby fairy that violently fell down and broke its wings and its mum coming to her baby's rescue and carrying it on its back as she flew away. ^w^ [/cheesy]
Awwwwww~! *much fluff appreciation and squealing ensues* and such a range of material! Duuuuuuude~!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
