Roku cannot help but laugh and say; "HA! You're such a strange, silly little kid!"
He pats Aomi's shaggy hair as if she were a small cat, and she shrinks shyly away.

Katara smiles sweetly and says "Heh, Aang, you're the silliest little kid, I've ever met!" patting his bald head.
Aang grumbles because he cannot shake the feeling the familiarity of those words and gestures.

This reminds me of how someone asked me when they saw "Someday Soon" that if OMG are Roku and Aomi 'together'?!?!111oneone. Not to kill shipping or anything, but I rasberried to myself when I heard that and told them 'holy crap, NO' (though it still could be my fault, seeing as I made it as such most would interpret it that way) o__O

I was on an Avatar Roku kick and I think I made other series of OC characters (including a rival he meets in the Earthkingdom, his firebending teacher, his airbending buddies, his firebending buddies, and an old man and his grandson) he's met on his travels before he mastered the elements, but Aomi came out first, an original character that I developed earlier on, the kid that he considers almost as his little sister.
