Haha, this was actually drawn a looong time ago *cough some time after Cave of two Lovers showed*
my friend Rednovember got me the soundtrack for "Take the Lead" (a movie in which Zuko VA, Dante Basco has a role in and grooves in ) and I got around to sketching it.
Then later, around the time I was just about finishing it, I posted the WIP sketch as a comment on another deviation, and some time later a deviationmade by someone else...sorta...which I realized 'coincidentally' resembled my sketch in a way.
Eheh, well these thing happen, but then around that time suddenly everyone else was doing this, and well, I thought, what would be the point in making something that just goes along with the current wave or trend of things?

Later I realized, bah, it's alright, I had fun with the image and what inspired it, was part of something fun. So it's all guuud.

Sketching this was interesting, those poses...EEGAds, were difficult to come up with, there are prolly some anatomy blips but ahhh at this point. ahhhhhh
Kinda wanted to go for a very graffiti style, I remember I had a friend named Juan from highschool who could do illustrations in this style li3k whoa, MAJOR Awesome stuff from him.
. Had trouble coloring this too, *yearns for tablet*
But its finished! <
